One day about two years ago, a lady at Shauna's work brought a small puppy with her into work one day. She said that she had found him in a ditch beside the road. The lady had phoned the SPCA and a animal shelter called the Blue Cross, but both said that they had no vacancies and that the dog would be put to sleep if they took him in. Well, to cut a long story short, we ended up taking him. We had always planned on getting another dog to be some comfort for Chase. However, after about 3 months he was causing too much hassle. He was still just a pup and wanted to play all the time. Even at three in the morning. One night I woke up to him barking and growling with Chase, just play fighting. The neighbour next door was not pleased and at this point neither was I. He had to go. So we let him go to a friend of Shaunas, but he didn't last long there either. After he ripped up there garbage and generally made a mess of their back yard, he came back to us. Luckily, Shauna had a friend who lived on an acreage and had lots of space and was far away from her neighbours! But the story doesn't end there. Apparently he was very keen on her cats... a little too keen. After she had seen him run behind her shed, she chased after him. She seen Muck running away and a dead cat on the ground. After that, I'm not sure where he went, to the SPCA I think. He had a hard start.
