Its been a while since I updated this, but with so much free time on my hands I decided I needed to catch up on some Football Manager 07! Yes I know what a geek. But if you look at it from the point of few that I am doing all this work for what seems like nothing at this point, then why not.
Now I like all types of humor. Pretty much anything will make me chuckle, but observational humor is what really makes me laugh. To quote someone very wise, Homer Simpson once said, "Its funny cos it's true!" Things that I can relate to on a daily basis and maybe have already thought of as quite funny. Some people use sayings and and are so straight faced when they say them not realizing that what they just said makes no sense. For example, if you have lost your car keys someone will always say, "they will be in the last place you look." Of course they will. I'm not going to find my keys, then keep on looking for them! If you have ever heard Jerry Seinfeld do standup then you know that he does a lot of observational material. Also, since I have had my Sirius satelite radio, I have been listening to alot of commedy. One commedian in particular I like to listen to is Mitch Hedberg. A very funny guy but who is sadly dead. So many great quotes I would like to list a few here.
An escalator can never break down... just become stairs. You would never see an "Escalator out of order sign, just an "Escalator temporarily stairs" sign, "Sorry for the convenience".
A guy showed me a photo the other day and said, "this is a photo of me when I was younger". Every photo is of you when you were younger. Try and show me one of you when you are older!
I like re-fried beans. One day I would like to try fried beans because they might taste the same and we are just wasting time.
I walked past a dry cleaners at 3 am and the sign said, "sorry we are closed". You don't have to be sorry, its 3 am, it would be unreasonable of me to expect you to be open.
So many more but my delivery, (or yours), doesn't do his comedy justice.
