If you have never used it,
Google Earth is a satellite map with awesome detail and functionality. I'm no expert on what they did but I presume Google has satellites that are up there floating around with a camera attached. Probably a little better than Kodak, taking pictures of the earth at varying heights. Or maybe just one height but they have the ability to zoom in and out on that image. Anyway, it can also be used as a standard map. Just toggle between the two. Some areas of the world have more detail than others. Obviously as the satellite/s move around the world they eventually cover ground they have already shot, then they take more detailed pictures. Originally where my house should have been, was just a snow covered field. Now, my house is on there.

Ok I never said the quality was great, but this is just some place in Edmonton. The landmarks around the world are a lot better.

Well thats my pick of the day, hope you like it and maybe use it, its fun... for about 20 minutes. ;-)
