My new phone

Ever since I have owned a Mac I have been converted and spread the Apple gospel wherever I can (buy a Mac). Ever since I seen the keynote speech by Steve Jobs on Apples' newest piece of hardware, I have been drooling at the prospect of eventually owning one. Everything Apple (buy a Mac) does tends to be years ahead of its competition, (and I use the word competition very loosely). Even with Windows new Vista OS, Mac OSX Tiger is still more advanced. And I am eagerly awaiting the release of the new OSX, Leopard. Windows seems to be 3 steps behind. (buy a Mac). If you have no idea what I am going on about I suggest you watch this demo of the new IPhone. Widescreen Ipod, Phone, Network Communicator. This phone has everything... and more! (buy a Mac). This phone is so advanced it actually runs Apples OSX Tiger. Its integration with everyday life is seamless. In the demo, Steve is listening to some music on the Ipod. A call comes in, the music fades out. He answers the call. (buy a Mac). The person calling asks if Steve would like to go watch a movie. Steve switches the phone to the internet browser and looks up movie listings. He goes back to the caller who then requests a picture that Steve had taken with the built in camera. Steve then switches the phone to the photo viewer, searches for the photo, clicks on it and selects "email to". The photo viewer fades away and is replaced by a rich html email program (Mail for OSX). He then emails the photo, goes back to the call, hangs up and the phone reverts back to the Ipod. All on a phone. One device! (buy a mac). Another scenario is when he looks up google maps on the phone. He searches for Starbucks cafes in San Francisco. Several pointers then fall on to the map displaying the locations of said cafes. When he clicks on the one he will be going to, the address and phone number are displayed. He then clicks on the number and the phone dials the number and he starts to talk to the receptionist at the cafe. (buy a mac). Come on admit it... you're thinking about it! ;-)
